As many of YOU already might know, I have been living in Italy almost 5 years but I am originally from Prague.
Therefore I love coming back and always wish to stay somewhere in the heart of the city centre.
During my last 5 years, I had stayed at most of the hotels and some apartments mostly on the Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square.
If YOU love being able to walk everywhere as I do, finding an accommodation on these 2 squares is the best choice for YOU!
Because the Old Town Square, The Charles Bridge, the State Opera and every cool places – you name it, are all by a walking distance.
So YOU can explore Prague during your walks even late night without wondering how to get taxi.
How did I get to the city centre:
I booked a taxi from the airport to the Wenceslas square through a website Prague Airport Transfers
This service I can easily prepay and the driver is waiting for me with my name tag at the airport, all for an unbelievable price 20 eur! Not bad for a service which makes me feel almost like a family member waiting for me 😉
Oh and I can’t forget, a free wifi which could be very handy especially for those with foreigner phone number and limited data.

My personal experience:
I truly enjoyed my stay!
I had a late night flight from Milan to Prague. I got in touch with the reception and they were very amazing! Even left the key for me with internet password and all instruction at the security gard.
Apartment has a huge terrace overlooking Wenceslas Square. There is a seating area so you can enjoy your afternoon aperitif while overlooking Prague city centre.
I am almost getting emotional writing this post, because it feels so good coming back to my beloved Prague and to be able to enjoy the city centre from an amazing private roof top. How lucky am I, founding this apartment?
I could walk through Prague with my eyes being closed. All those years just flying quickly through my mind.

Also important is to mentioned, that the room is quiet, I actually haven’t slept so good in a long time.
There is also an air condition, a shower and a very comfortable double bed and as a bonus I got the possibility to have a complimentary Nespresso coffee in the morning.
Which I am sure you would enjoy as well while enjoying the view and planning your day.
The photos of the room I took from the website of Wenceslas Square Terraces, because I checked in the apartment so late and early morning I had an appointment so I didn’t have time. I promise, during my next stay I will make for you an authentic photos of my own room! 🙂
